I just got these two from some people I know in the watch business, they are simple knives for watch repairmen having a blade for opening watch cases, the red one is a Victorinox and the black one a Wenger, I have seen the Wengers before at watch repair shops but never for sale, I had never seen a Vic, I do believe I once saw a larger Wenger with more watchmaker tools. I guess it´s only natural for a Swiss knife manufacturer to make a watchmakers knife, and wonder what other specialied SAKs there are that most people never get to see.

I occasionally see these on ebay. Always for high end watches. How much does the watch case blade protrude from the handle when folded?

The blades don´t potrude much when closed, just out enough for the nail nick (about 1/8 of an inch I´d guess), in the Wenger it potrudes about the same as the main blade, in the Vic a bit less.
