What is everyone's favorite Swiss Army Knife, and why? Mine is probaly the Victorinox Soldier or Tinker. I like to keep mine slim in the pocket.

Farmer. Everything that's great about the Soldier with an added Saw. Makes it more comfortable due to the added width and the saw is very useful in the outdoors. Construct a shelter using just the SAK Farmer? No problem. :)

I only have two Vics - alox cadets. I love 'em and EDC at least one in conjunction with a larger folder. I like the alox SAKs because they have a different look to them, while being pretty slim for pocket carry. Sharp main blade, too. Next SAK purchase will be an alox farmer. :)

Victorinox Deluxe Tinker -- just the right size, highest percentage of actual use tools for me.

my favorite has to be the Swisschamp, hat a lot before that one, stuck with it for over 10 years now, but...

i really like the Compact, it's got a lot of the stuff i bought the Swisschamp for in a small package

i think the combo can/bottle opener works better than the can opener on the 'champ

i also really like the Manager series with the bottle opener and the small Phillips

The soldier.

It has just what I need on a day to day use basis, but slim enough for edc. I have mixed feelings about the saw and the farmer. It works good, but its easy enough to cut a sappling or limb by notching a ring and then just breaking it off.

Running a close tie to the soldier is the tinker. Very sheeple friendly, an extra knife blade, light enough in the pocket to not be noticed.

Victorinox Fieldmaster, because it has just the right tools without being too bulky.

swisschamp is mine,i want everything including the useless stuff that comes on it also that might come in handy one day:)
