Have you ever pimped out a SAK for somebody. I've really gotten into the little red knives for their usefulness and utility. I just wish it had some grippier handles (maybe G10) and a better blade/steel. I'd love to have a wharncliffe blade on a SAK, I think it would be one cool knife. Have you ever done anything like that?

Benny I have not but what I did was send my own to my very good friend Dirk Potgieter to do mine for me. He has done countless SAKs for folks and is the one to ask on those. Pay him a visit here and tell him I sent you over. He will do a righteous job on your SAK like no other. I was thrilled with my fiddleback maple SAK he did for me let me tell you! http://forum.ramanon.com/forumdisplay.php?f=149

He goes by Oupa and is pretty easy to track down.

I appreciate your asking but trust me he'll do better on that particular folder than I would.

You can see mine here in this thread. http://www.knifeforums.com/forums/s...ost/501403/hl/Fiddleback/fromsearch/1/#501403

thanks,
i sent him an email. i had another question for you that i forgot to ask. i've seen some people on here talking about a 'splinter picker' tip on their knives that they had you do for them. what are they talking about?

hopefully the gubment will be giving us all $600 soon and i'll be able to use about 1/2 of that for one of your ouperators. i love the look of those knives. if i ever get to spend 300 bucks on a knife it will be one of those.
