Sal, any plans for a larger fixed blade?

I was wondering if there are/have been any plans on a larger Spyderco fixed blade, say something similar to the Becker BK7 or BK9? I've had a Perrin street bowie(and have also handled a Temperance) and while they are both very nice, I think that a larger Spydie fixed blade(S30V?:D) with a full tang nested between G10 scales would be awesome.

What do you think, Sal?

We've got a concept model of an Ed Schewmpp Camp knife we'll be showing at SHOT for opinions.

That sounds great....too bad that I won't be able to make it to the SHOT show though. :( Any ideas on handle material, steel type, etc. yet?

A 9 inch blade version of the Fred Perrin Bowie would be excellent.:).

Please make the handle material G10 or carbon fiber. No Zytel or FRN please. Either S30V or VG10 would be just fine, thank you.

m2 or d2 anyone? i too would seriously enjoy a large fixed blade. and i would like to echo the request for full tang with liners and without the use of FRN...

Large camp knife? *yeeee-haaaaw!* Sounds good! Umm, the SHOT show's scheduled in Mid-Feb.. Lets hope that something fruitful will come out from Mr Schemp's effort! :D

While the Spydie R&D team is hard at work on this larger camp knife, I've decided on getting a Swamp Rat Camp Tramp to tide me over. ;)
