Hi Sal - What is the proper method that you recommend for sharpening the "pumpkinseed" grind tip of the Lum model? Is this best accomplished with the Sharpmaker or a bench stone (or perhaps the new Sharpmaker set up as a bench stone?) Thanks for the advice.

Dexter - I think a buffing wheel will be the only way to maintain that particular shape. Shouldn't take too much. You could use a Sharpmaker, but the very edge will straight and not convex (about 1mm). Don't know that anyone would notice and the performance would surely be there.

Thanks for the fast response. Looks like the Sharpmaker is my only option as I do not have a buffer. Thanks again for the lightning response!
