Do you know of any places that I could find a plain Goddard the big one in Micarta plain?

Maybe in the back of some warehouse forgotten?

Greetings MDP. If there are any in the warehouse, then better make it two at least! I' ve searched high and low but no luck. Can' t recall the thread or forum but it was mentioned that a plain was never made or made available. That part serrated is why I' ve never sprung for one. But Sal probably knows the facts better than I.

Hi guys. I just thought I would drop in here as I just picked up a lite wt. Goddard C16 with the 50/50 edge. Had trepadations about it as I like a plain blade for pretty much everything. Well this model gives you enough of a plain edge to be more than handy and the back part of the blad with the spyderco serrations just back the plain edge up for even more robustness and cutting ability. I really like the volcano grip too. I bought the CUDA and this knife at the same time. Hate to say it but I like the C16 better than the CUDA. Easier to carry, no sharp edges, the blade is definetly sharper, and it is very lite weight. I am having a devil of time getting my CUDA sharp. Anyways for the price of the C16 it is hands down one of the best bargains out there. keep'em sharp.
 
We stopped making plain edge Goddards a while back. Probably part of the never ending battle to balance inventory and not have too many SKUs. You might check with Wayne Goddard. He sometimes has some about. We are expecting a shipment of plain edge Lite-weights, because of demand. You might also check with some of the mail order companies that stocked them. You can also complain to the Sales dept and they also pay attention. You can't have mine.
