As long as it's G-10. I'm not a big fan of titanium for the lock side. It doesn't grip the pocket well and adds weight.
 
Here's some more info on it. Sounds a lot like an Austrian CPM-S30V with a tiny bit more carbon, and some more chromium.

Personally, I'd rather see a Military using CTS-XHP. American made, very reasonably priced, and it has been outperforming my CPM-S30V blades. Especially in keeping that initial crazy sharp edge. Plus it sharpens like a dream.

this has been my experience. the manix 2 in XHP i just got has been killing the S30V in my para. ive been pleasantly surprised. i didnt think anything would dethrone my para....
 
you know, I would say yes...though after handling the most recent military, I still feel there needs to be some major improvements, similar to what has been done to the para, before i buy another. I.E. 4 way clip, improved ergos, maybe some spine jimping, a better choil, etc.

When that's done, we can talk steel

I prefer tip up but with a knife as long as the Military, the tip down does seem to work better for me. I can adapt to either.

What I would love on the Military is the wire clip. Am I alone on this?
 
Wire clip is awesome. I do think that for the Military it would need to be a little thicker gauge wire.

I don't know, I compared the Military's clip the the Sage's and they're almost the same size. If you consider the Military is maybe an ounce heavier yet is longer so it's weight is distributed down in the pocket. I would trust the Sage's clip on the Military completely as long as it's mounted properly.
I actually plan on trying it with a recent ebay catch if things work out. Time to call the SFO looking for Sage clips :).
 
I'd be up for one, also prefer it to be in G10. I mean, I love the G10/Ti combo but i want one with and awesome steel in all G10 aswell. Not really big on digicamo though
 
I would be all over either. I like look of the Peel Ply Carbon Fiber better than the black G10. I also prefer the weight of the liner lock military over the frame lock military even with the G10 on the non lock side. But I love the Sprint models of the Military. No need to change anything on the knife for me. I like tip down and I am a righty so the knife just works for me.
