I have seen these in the store and they are definitely very nice. I just got a Calypso Jr. with VG-10 and am impressed with the edge holding ability of this steel.
 
Great knife, eh?? I really enjoy mine. Just a superb knife. I can't wait for the Gun metal blue one. :)

They sure did, Sal. I've been playing with my Chinese Folder while I've been sitting here at the computer. I've had more pleasure from this knife than any other I've ever owned. Only trouble is, it is so good I may never want to buy another knife (apart from the gun metal blue Chinese Folder of course) :(.

Nah, once an addict always an addict :).
 
So when is the blue Lum due for release anyway? I'm trying to decide whether to wait or just go ahead and buy a green one now... :)

Siege, Spyderco says the blue lum chinese due out mid to late August. Will wait and see.. md
 
i've got the LUM ti tanto, but have NEVER seen a chinese (cept pics of course) everyone talks so highly of them, might have to put one on my short list of things to get.....

I just bought the Chinese also, and it is incredible. I do have a question though. What is this spacer made of? I have looked in a number of places and have had no luck. It feels like textured zytel.
