Hi Sal and All,
(at least for people like me who prefer a folder over a fixed blade)
The stretch is almost there but just about. I have seen reviews of hunters and skinners who liked it but its still lagging.
The ultimate hunter skinner should have a 4" cutting edge with more belly than the stretch and be a drop point 50/50 choil or no choil at all. too much choil can snag if not in use. FF ground and open construction for ease of cleaning. The liner lock is not preferable. A frame lock or a compression lock would be better. It should be strong but not heavy so no need for something overbuilt.
CPM s30v or better. (I find vg10 chippy with bones (micro chippy)
Thats all IMO
