Sal,Military lock problem

I got a S30V PE Military I have carried for a couple weeks now.This morning I was cutting open a clam pack and thought I felt the blade move.On closer inspection I notice that when preasure is put on the back of the blade the liner lock slides over a bit on the tang.The blade is also off center a little.
Is the normal for the newer style lock on the Military or should I send it in?
I have a CE with about as much carry time and it is rock solid.

Hi Biogon. Actually, my involvement is more of an R&D function. We'll need to analyze the defect(?) and determine the cause & refinement necessary to eliminate a potential(?) problem.

Yes, but the fact is that you're directing the effort, your company is actively concerned about this kind of failure, and methods to redress it.

Military is on its way in.
Before I sent it I closely compared it to my CE and with,oh would say 3 lbs preasure on the back of the blade the liner slips over a bit.On the CE I but about 10 lbs or more and it does not move.It looks to my untrained eye that only a small amount of the liner is touching the tang,like it is ground at a angle that doesn't match the tang.This may be letting it slide.
Anyway I would like to know what was causeing it when you get it back.Thanks

I just noticed that my CE S30V has a torx pivot and the PE had a allen head.Does this mean a few of the S30Vs have the excentric pivot?

I talked with Mike and this was the problem.I am waiting on it to come back in the mail now.Spyderco fitted it with a new liner.Can't wait to get it back,I have been carring my CE but I just love the PE in the Military.
