Sal, Sharpening "Apple Seed Grind"?

I should be getting my sharpener from Ya'll soon, and my Lum. Read today that it has the Hamaguri(?) edge on it... If I use the Lum & feel the need to sharpen it, can I?

Mark - It's "Hamaguri" only at the "tanto" tip. If you need to sharpen it, you can:

1) match the original grind on the hamaguri by hand and sharpen the rest of the blade as normal. or

2) you can just sharpen it as normal and expect that yhou will lose a small amount of the hamaguri at the edge of the tanto tip.
