I came back across pics of these knives and was wondering if we could get an update on release dates. Also, have the designs or materials changed and can you give us an idea of what they'll retail for?

I'm looking to replace my Endura as my daily carry and I think will wait til these come out.

TIA.

Dave.

I too would be interested in an update on these models. Thanks.

BTTT ... any further info on anticipated release and price?

One question on the Temperance Jr., if I may. I guess it applies to knife design in general too. I noticed that the clip on the T. Jr. is integrated into the pivot pin, but on the Meerkat, it's closer to the end (same as the Calypso Jr. btw). Then I look at other Spyderco knives and see a lot of different carry designs and I'm curious what goes into the decision of which configuration to use on a particular model. For example, the LW Delica is ambi/tip-up while the SS Delica is NOT ambi, but offers tip-up/tip-down options.

Thanks.

Dave.

The Temperance jr (Lil' Temperance) and the Meerkat are scheduled for early 2001.

Clip style and location depend on the model. The Meerkat clip is short and deep pocket because we need a short clip so it doesn't interfere with the unlocking method. The Lil Temp clip is designed to work with an adjustable pivot and rotation indexing.

The Stainless Endura and Delicas are price point pcs tooled to the old pattern. We would rather tool up for a new model and retool for a price point pc.
