Sal, don't you think it's time to offer up a set of kitchen knives? If you do, I apologize, but I can't seem to find em anywhere. All I can find is them sold individually. I want more than just ONE steak knife, or Chefs knife. I want a whole set of Spydie Kitchen Preppin goodness! Maybe throw in a Spydie Embossed knife block too. ;)

Thanks

My Friend,

It is my understanding that Spyderco is working on a new line of kitchen knives to be released in the next year or so. Stay tuned...

You might also check out the Yin/Yang set coming out soon...

Those look pretty sweet. What steel are they using with those. I may order the plain edge tonight. I really like the handle.

New Graham has it! Go now! Go! Go!

Sold separately, but both sold by Mike, Tom, Mary Beth, and Ann.

What are you still doing here?!

Go, g'darnit!

SIX inch blade? Thats a steak knife! I want a set of matching steak knives, a chefs knife, a paring knife, a bread/cake knife, and more (all in one set)! Not to mention my knife block with nice embossed (maybe burnished) spydie symbal!

Not to be crass, but $40+ bucks for ONE steak knife is outrageous! I can see it if you were buying a replacement for one missing in a set, but you always pay less for the volume of buying a complete set. I see retail price of a nice Spydie kitchen knife set in the $200-$300 range, with fair market value selling for much less on sale, etc... You can sell a super expensive set, but you'll miss the home market. How many restuarants are there compared to home kitchens? Just my uneducated guess.

If you want a steak knife you can order the Spyderco 4.5" Utility Knife
(SCK05SBK) it is just $16.81 at NGK. It does have a Sermollan handle and not wood, but if it is anything like its slightly larger brother it will go through meat like a hot knife through butter. They have both the red and black handle in stock.

These are nice general purpose kitchen knives as well.

I would like a full Spyderco set as well, but since I have most of their Pro Culinare series I probably would not buy it. Mine look a bit plain, but they are the best knives I have in the kitchen and the price was very nice.
