Sale prices removed

I do not know if this has been mentioned before ( sure it has ) , Can we keep the original prices in the description so that we can get a gauge of the going or asking prices? I do not where to place this message but I am hoping enough people see it so that it can be made a rule or a suggested option. thank you

Many like to keep the transaction prices private.

Additionally, I don't think I would gage a market price based on a sale from a paying member who is obviously having some financial strains at this time.
 
I wasn’t specific of only this sale thread, it was a general forum wide thought.
 
Really odd...I just got a notice that my post above was moved to this thread. I read these comments in a sales thread by a member who needed help paying his utility bills....hence my comment. No idea whats going on with the forum.
 
The posts were moved out of a sales thread as that’s not the appropriate place to have a discussion.

As discussed in one of the other many times as it is come up I’ll leave a couple points.

No one likes more rules
I personally like that the sellers have leeway in their own sales threads
How do we know if the listed price is the actual price it sold for?

Read the rules, and you'll understand - ads are not the place for discussion or commentary.

I agree that it is not MUST, voiceing my opinion is all and voicing why it would be helpful. I do not see why that was not clear originally.
