Why arent sale threads retuning to the top when updated or bumped? I have had some postsin recent sale threads and they are not returning to the top. I am going to do a 72 hour bump later tonight and will see what happens but a posting in the thread is not bringing it back up. Did I miss something?

Yep, check out the rules, they changed  Your bump will only be seen when members hit the last post link. You have to wait 2 weeks to repost your thread if you want it at the top again. Some members dont like the new rules but Ive had good results. Price right and your item will sell.

Ok. I personally think that is going to hurt people trying to sell on the forum, but rules are rules. Thanks for the help.

I thought I'd offer some feedback to this change in the seller forums. I'm a Gold Member and have an ongoing listing where I sell my knives and make updates to. Previously when I'd bump the thread or when someone replies to it, the post would come back to the top and it would be seen again. Now with the update where one has to sort threads by Last Post Time, I don't see any activity on my listing and it's buried deep in the forum as the original start date was over a half year ago. The fact is that many users don't bother with sorting the the threads and just look at what is visible on their screen by default. I don't know how this change makes things better but it has certainly made it worse for my listing as I can't get my listing to the top unless someone does search by the Last Post Time search.

I'd like to keep my original post as it has feedback from those who bought and give assurance to those looking as it shows I've sold a lot. Other than reverting back to the old way by listing threads on Last Post Time, I'm faced with abandoning my post and just starting new posts to get more exposure. I update my ad frequently and after this change to the forum, I get no inquiries whereas before the change I got many.
