Try to have a little patience. Some people don't have daily access to a computer. I'd give 'em 3-4 days to respond. If nothing by then, move on.

Personal computer's crash. People get sick. Relative's die. Homes get flooded. Etc.......
If the person I am dealing with is someone I know, either from the forums, mutual frieds or, something similar, I will give them a lot of slack. Someone I don't know, recently registered on the forums, few posts, etc. cause more caution or skepticism on my end.
It all really depends on the individuals involved in the transaction.
