I am a small dealer/maker. I sell at local gun shows and buy knives through distribution.Recently a good customer requested a Spyderco brochure/catalog.I called my distributer and was told to contact the mfr. direct. I emailed my request to Spyderco and was told to ask the distributer ( although in my email stated that I already had) Subsequent messages have not been answered by Spyderco. Is this an unreasonable request? I can't help but feel slighted by the company and my enthusiasm for the product is fading. Am I less of a customer because I buy from distribution (I have bought Spyderco knives at retail in the past) I have always displayed and sold Spyderco knives and have never had a negative word for the products and service provided. All I want is a few catalogs to give to qualified knife buyers who request them. Is'nt this the reason they were printed?

Gee.that sounds like a simple mix up to me..REALLY.. I'm not in sales etc..I design steel...BUT SPYDERCO is one of the best in that inside every kife box there resides a catalog...
The distributor catalog goes to them..the distributors, and I believe they are in process of making new catalogs etc..
Alot of Energy is into the web site and I believe theres a downloadable catalog there..
or at least printable..LOL..
As for SPYDERCO..its not so much a company as a family..really its organised chaos with everyone tryting to get things done as best as possible..That means sometimes small things slip through the cracks..no excuse just reality...
Hang tight...I'll notify SOMEBODY.but I bet Michelle is on it already!!!Shes pretty good at all this..
We will get you an answer!
Ok I admit it..we're really humans...LOL!
And yes..of course there are no major complaints from the sPYDERCO Products you sell..The products are done with integrity!
