Are any of the HOGS bringing blades for sale/trade at Blade 2007 ?

I doubt that I will, it seems like there have been too many ripoffs by the airline workers lately, its a shame. :(

tickets are way cheaper in the cargo hold... or you can send them to the "skunktransporter" for a small user fee :cool:

having never been to a Blade Show, can anyone tell me if there a place set up there for HOGS and the like to trade/sell ?
 
I think it usually happens in a limited, discreet manner. I don't think it happens in a blatant, wholesale way out of respect for Jerry and crew: they pay thousands of dollars in booth fees and sending employees there. As long as it is conducted in a respectful, quiet way, I don't think it is a problem. I just think it is done is such a way as to not appear like direct competition to the factory tables.
 
i agree, just don't get caught on the bottom of the dogpile with your hand on the blade and cash in your other hand.
 
OK, thanks for the info... Jerry will be getting a fair bit of my hard earned money in Atlanta, I am sure of that (provided I get there before the rest of this crew)...

Living in South America, and not getting to the USA all that often, this will be my only chance to pick up an older Busse or two (like a HHFSH), does Jerry sell older models at his table, or is it mostly custom shop stuff ??

Not on the show floor, that is a big no no. Now what you do out in the lot, the hallways, the pit or your hotel room is your business.
 
Just watch out for Thatmguy, he will steal it away while you have it in your hand. It was so underhanded and sneaky and mean how he stole it from Dbrown, that it brought tears of happiness to my eyes.:thumbup:

I hear that! I was thinking about shipping some knives to the hotel, or photographing the ones I would consider trading and then carry the images on the phone for viewing during trade talkin'... Ship them from home after BLADE, nothing for the airlines to ste.... uhh, LOSE, yeah that's it. Mebbe a bit of both. I wouldn't mind setting up a few trade deals... Some Busse for Busse swaps while there, ya know?. :thumbup:

PS,

I recall someone offering to receive and haul knives to the show for those unable to drive. But I think he was refering to a knife to use at Fogo. Jaxx may just be onto something.
