"Salon de la Durolle" 2024

Last weekend was the "Salon de la Durolle" knife show in La-Monnerie-le-Montel, a small town a few miles east of Thiers. I was there for five days and I had lend a helping hand to the organisers, the "Vieilles Lames" association.

In the foyer Albert Cheze, a retired knifemaker, presented his "Couteaux hors Gabarit". A collection of giant french regional knives he made. An amazing collection!
