I EDC a blue salsa PE and just love everything about it.
Size, shape, hood, color (blue), type of steel. Very easy to touch up the edge.

I have not been keeping up with things on the forums over the summer and in searching ebay I seen some Salsa auction that said the salsa has been discontinued by Spyderco.

Is this true?
If so how long ago was it discontinued?

If it's true I may have to pick up a extra one or two.

Any other EDC Salsa fans out there?
What model Salsa do you carry?

Feel free to post photo's of your favorit salsa or salsa collection.
I always love looking at the different salsa's on ebay, I'm I sick or what? :)

Would be great to get some history on my favorit knife. :)
 
I think that just the colored ones were.They are still makeing the black and the Ti.
 
I have a couple of the colored models. I have a PE Cranberry, and a "Tan" (um, in reality "gray") SE.

I like the Salsa, I think it comes off as a "little knife", when in reality it is not so. It is more like a pitbull, frankly. Stubby, but more powerful than you would expect.

I would pick up some of the colored ones if cheap, can't have too many!

It also makes a good travel knife, a strudy knife, yet not too big.

The faults of the knife have been pointed out, it rides high in the pocket, and the compression lock eats your hand up when you stick you hand in your pocket, and for not a large knife, it is wide and does take up some pocket space. Other than that, I like the knife. Not my EDC, but it does get some ride time.
 
I seen this listed on a website about a black Salsa.

This is the new Black Salsa but With a mistake, the handles have the Salsa Pepper on them and the released version of this knife is not supposed too.

Was this really a mistake?
Have any idea how many of these "mistakes" were made?

IIRC very few made it out with the mistake.New Graham is the only place I have seen them.
 
Here is a Red Salsa with no pepper on it.

Sure seems like there are a lot of different Salsa's to find if one was to start a collection.
