Salt-1 Clips

A sposed to be brand new salt just landed on my doorstep this morning, is this a new roundyround rustproof clip, or has someone pulled a fast one and swapped it with a regular endura/delica clip?

That is the new style. A endura/delica won't fit a salt.

That's CQI for ya. Spyderco had recently switched to that style from the older squared style. You're good to go!

It is good looking isnt' it? I don't know why it didn't occur to me to try this before posting too, but I have some old hard drive magnets sitting around and just checked all the metal bits on the knife. Black and lockbar= strong pull, Clip screw, extremely weak pull on one side only. I think from a very thin (300 series?) stainless washer underneath the screw assembly. Clip, ZERO pull. Yep, that's titanium all right.

Can anyone confirm these on Pacific Salts yet? I've been meaning to order a new one but would like to get one with the updated clip.

I ordered these two from Cutlery Shoppe and just got them in last week. Salt 1 and Pacific Salt both have the new rounded pocket clips.
