Salt 2 H1 Black Coated, question

Did Spyderco have different variations of this knife that used different colored hardware? I have seen photos of ones that used chrome screws and some that used black coated screws.

Are the chrome hardware versions authentic?

Yes they weren't originally coated.

The clips also changed coating type as well (paint type to like an oxide). You'll even see a mix of stuff because it wasn't a full changeover of everything at once, just whatever was in the box when they put it together, so sometimes you ight see like an old style clip with coated hardware.

Also keep in mind dealers often don't update their photos, so they might show silver hardware but only have coated.
