Salt Acid Fat Heat is a show on Netflix. It deals with the basics of cooking. In Episode 4, Heat, a chef says her favorite kitchen knife is a Buck bought about 30 years ago (maybe mid 80s). I can't identify the knife. if you watch that episode the knife is shown at about the 3 minute mark. If anyone can identify the knife post here.

Bert

EDIT: The handle has a distinctive design.

Hey Mike, what's the story on the 223? I have the 223 silver creek 6" fillet knife, not made in the U.S. it also isn't a full tang as yours is.

You have got to have the best organization strategy I have ever seen. Either that or have little gremlins u hand a slip to and they go fetch the knives your looking for.:D:D I swear somebody asks about a knife and you pull it right up. I would love to see your storage. I'm lucky if I can find both shoes in the morning.:D:D love that first one.
The Americraft I won a door prize at a Salmon derby 10 years ago or so. The Buck filet knife I got buying an estate sale. Yamaha bear 4x4 atv and the whole estate sale at once. I had a couple yard sales and sold the four wheeler. Gave me some funds to guy more knives and leather.

I really only try to keep the ones that strike my fancy. Pattern knives for sheaths I keep the basic models.
