Does any one know where I can buy tempering salt, I need parks sta hard 45 or a salt range from 1550deg to 2100 deg. I want to temper cpm 154 so a salt that will fall in that required tempering range. Parks will not sell direct and did not have a list of suppliers. I looked a Ellis customs but the range was in the neighborhood of 1650 high end. I have also included some pic of stainless containers, if there is any interest I could get them for $100.00 or less and there is 20 of them, Think the normal price is around the $250.00 I would be glad to check and pass what ever the cost is plus shipping along. They are 1 gal 4" x 24" SS. about .25 thick. I do not know if they would very but they are pressure rated vessels.
