Salt Clip Stripped and Anodized

Hey Guys,

Got the idea from this thread
I basically followed the same process, started out with a couple more batteries as I wanted a lighter color (5 9v), initially got a light green, didn't like it, resanded with 320 grit, tried 4 batteries and got this light blue. I have an original TI clip in the pic, and the black bolt is only temporary...

If you want a deep blue grab a Mapp torch and head it.

This is the best I could do with google image search, but you get the idea how vivid it is.

If you polish the clip before anodizing it ends up with a lot more gloss, but I liked the flatter look. Using 3 batteries also gets a much darker blue than I have.
