Salt Flat TX trip

Those look like they're Sangre de Christo Range in West Tx/Southern NM out by Ft Bliss, and White Sands Missle Range, and Holoman AFB... Pretty area.. Thanks for the pics!
 
OUCH!!!

Waterpump pulley bites, cause when you open the hood, and see the belt, you think "ahh, just replace the belt"... BUUUTTTTTTTTTTT NNNNNOOOOOOOO!!

Had that happen to me on a 94 TransSport. Repalced the waterpump myself, what a pain.

I think that was the karma for me to buy my first Busse with the $$ I saved....

Hope it ended well, and relatively inexpensively for ya man!!!

Had nearly the same thing happen to us in Montgomery, AL. Water pump locked up and the serpentine belt finally gave up the ghost.

Can you believe that we stood under an underpass for over an hour with a baby and no one stopped??!!! It wasn't because of a lack of traffic. Called AAA and got a wrecker there eventually, but the experience almost made me lose faith in my fellow Southerners.
