just found a pic that would be cool for Spyderco to laser engrave on a short run of Salts.

Nose art work has long been a favorite picture topic for me. The humor, frequently rather black humor, involved in it is priceless.
 
That's neat Jeff, I'd sure go for one of those. I'm a fan of nose art too, in fact my avatar is a modified version of a piece by Don Allen that graced the nose of a P47 back in WWII.
 
I really like it.The engraveing-trophy shop in town just got a 30,000.00 engraver.I am trying to find just the right one to have engraved under the Military of my Military.
 
That's a cool pic. My dad was in North Africa during WWII and he took pictures of all the nose art on the bombers that came through where he was stationed. My wife took all of his WWII pictures and had them re-printed on newer stock since the originals were starting to fade. She then put them in a album and gave it to my on our anniversary.

Only slightly OT, does anyone know who has the Salts in stock? I've been trying to find them to order, but I haven't been lucky yet.
