If i buy a dragonfly 2 salt, can I swap scales with a standard dragonfly 2? Want to try some H1 but yellow is pretty much my least favorite color in the world so I've avoided the salt series because of that. I like the idea of a bright color but prefer the bright blue or orange (what I have now in a dragonfly).
Same thought on delica vs salt though the salt is a different size blade which is why I was thinking the dragonfly salt might be different.
The dragonfly salt is something i have thought would be nice to take with for cycling trips since it's super small and sweat/salt resistant. We're talking 3-5 hr rides where my clothes are crusty and white from "salting out." Also looking at doing some self-supported events that could run 150-250km in one fell swoop so a little backup would be nice. I have multi-tools and such so something like a leatherman isn't needed, plus most of the tools on a multi-tool aren't too much help outside of the pliers and knife since pretty much every screw is a hex bolt.
My other option is a cheaper SAK that I don't mind getting nasty but I really prefer locking blades.
The use would be for emergency fixes like cutting tubes, plastic, food wrappers or other things for emergency tube/tire patches and possibly opening food packaging at checkpoints, because I hate fighting foil packaging when I'm already dead ass tired and mildly dehydrated.
