Saltwater Dive knife

I am looking for a good saltwater dive knife. Any suggestions? I have been looking at SOG seal pups and pup elites. What kind of blade finish is best for saltwater? Thanks>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

I would go with the Benchmade Dive and River Knife. Its made with H1 steel so its not going to rust.

The Benchmade River/Dive would be a nice choice. One minor correction though - the knife currently utilizes X15 T.N steel, not H1. :thumbup:

Check out Mission Knives. They have a wide variety of blades fashioned out of beta titanium. A bit pricey, but unlike stainless steel which is corrosion resistant, beta titanium is impervious to saltwater corrosion. You can come back from a dive and not even bother to take the knife out of its sheath to wipe it down.

Hey that river/dive knife looks real nice. Especially considering the price! I would like to have the Boker or Misssion but thats a hefty price tag! I would hate to buy one and lose it in the ocean somewhere. Do you know anything about the sheath that comes with the Benchmade. I would like to be able to strap it to my anke. Would I need to purchase a different sheath for this. Thanks for everyones help here. I know I am new to the forum but I have been collecting knives for most of my life. But this knife is for using not collecting! I am glad I found this forum. Its nice to know there are so many others out there with the same interest as mine.

Anything from the Spyderco Salt series. H1 steel means no rust ever.
