Hi there.
Just wanted to say hi to all the fine folks I've been reading about and learning from for so long. This is one site I love to keep an eye on. Not a day or an hour for that matter goes by that i am not refreshing the site  to gleen another tid bit of useful info from.
But alas the main reason I am here is to ask a question regarding cutting torches. I just recently bought a set of oxy/acet torches and then wondered if they will be fine if I store them in my shop when I'm not useing them.My shop is unheated by the way unless I'm there to feed the fire box. Basiccally I am concerned about them freezing and if that will damage them?

Welcome to Shoptalk! I see no problem leaving them in a cold shop. I wouldnt leave them outside. Make sure the bottles are turned off and there is no leaks around the regulators. Use soapy water to check for leaks.

Troy, welcome to BF.

You also want to make sure the bottles are secured in an upright position. If a bottle were to fall and break off the valve, you would have a rocket in the shop, though it wouldn't stay in there too long as it would blow through anything in its way  .
