I ordered a Buck Model 503 from the Custom Shop as a gift for our Pastor. It arrived on time and is a beautiful piece. I wrapped said gift and put it up on a book case for a few days. As luck would have it the "Beast" of the house, our little 10 pound mini dachshund named Ruger found it and chewed up the box ! My wife was beside herself. Calmly I told her, "hang on, I think I can get a new box." Since the box is part of the whole presentation of a Custom Shop knife, I was willing to pay anything. I called Idaho on Monday and spoke with a very nice gentleman, I neglected to get his name. I held for a few minutes and he came back on and said they would be glad to get me a new box for free and all I had to do was pay shipping! I reiterated that I would gladly cover cost, but he insisted. I paid him $20 dollars to ship it to me 2-day and by golly I got it! Peace in the house, dog out of the doghouse and I'm smiling. One more 'Hats Off" to Buck customer service. A small thing to some, but it meant the world to me.

The only problem I ever have is they won't let me pay my fair share.
Even when it's my fault. Which is always.

That is great to hear, I know your pain when it comes to dachshunds, we have one that is 8 months olds and nothing is safe around her.

J. Buck, good to keep hearing these stories - really all I've ever heard about Buck's CS is the type of story you wrote. I just sent my first, old two-dot to Buck Knives for the sharpening and cleaning service. It arrived yesterday per the USPS tracking number. Real interested to see what it's like once I get it back. OH

Gee, that's good. I thought you were going to come out with the blade wiggles, or is off center. Or the wood handles fell off. But this is better to read about. DM

I would like to give BUCK a BIG THANKS too. Thank You BUCK for having GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE! 👍

Cool nice to hear of good customer service. I will remember that in future purchases.
