Today, I saw a knife marked Sam Cox. I never heard of it, but it truely looks like a work of beauty. Wondering if they are any good. I only see fixed blades.

Anyone has anything to say about his knife?

Contact the maker if you can, and ask any questions you would like about the knife with his name on it. If you like it, buy it. If it looks like something you like, give it a try. You already know it's pretty, and everybody's bought a pretty wallhanger before. If it turns out to be not so hot, you can always put him on the GB&U (after you tried to get it worked out with him/her first, of course). It might be great, and you could have an early knife by a future Bob Loveless.:)
