Hi all,

I recently discovered the wonderful world of Sam Lurquin creations, and boy I’m in love. It seems his works are pretty scarce. For an international collector, chances are it’s hard for me to be able to get one from him in person in the any of the shows.

So the question is how do one get onto his books? He seems to have a presence on instagram, but he doesn’t say whether his books are open to the public... so If anyone knows the hows, please let me know. Thank you all! 🙏

I've picked up a number of Sam's knives over the past couple years. I obtained them thru Dave Ellis, retired ABS Master BladeSmith, who now has a business dealing in high quality knives from top quality makers. Google "Exquisite Knives" for his website. Dave is very knowledgeable and a very nice guy to deal with. He'll treat you right!!!

As for knives made by Sam Lurgin, they're extremely well made and each one is razor sharp!!! Hope this helps.

A few from my Brother Sam….

Next best thing: Sam's design and blessing in an AVAILABLE model.
Showcasing at Blade: Table 2F Editions G Knives.

HARD to acquire his hand-mades. Very hard.

If you attend a show then you need to be there first thing as he does sell out quickly. He typically has deliveries but does have knives on the table for sale.

For books... just message him on what you are wanting... he is backlogged so it may be awhile for it... there is a group on fb that every so often you can see someone selling a lurquin. Or as someone mentioned dave ellis has a few he sells every so often as well.

Sam is busy in the shop so he may be slow to respond. He posts on instagram knife orders typically nothing for sale.

His mid tech from editions g wardog 2.0 is a good knife and he is raising funds for a friends daughter from the proceeds of that knife.

His production from Valhalla tactical (kyle gahagan) is the production of the wardog seen in the june (on the cover) and august blade magazine. There were only 4 customs prototypes of that design made for production.

Yep I did direct messaged him on instagram... that’s a while a go haha. So I guess that’s no luck. The one thing with the shows is that international collectors like myself would have troubles attending... Guess best bet is to hope he has time to see your dm in his inbox

I received my Wardog from Kyle and Dana just yesterday…Sam all the way, ie, ergos, balance, style, etc, and mine is the very first one in OD green Micarta. 😎

EDITED TO ADD: Truly exceptional Kydex, too… :D

As I said in an earlier post, if you're really interested in Sam's knives contact Dave Ellis, at "Exquisite Knives" and I'm sure he can help you out.
