Sam Shortes Knife

Hi All,

I recently acquired a beautiful bowie that was etched by Sam Shortes with a George Custer etching. It says "Little Big Horn - June 25th 1876" on the top left of the etching. Moving to the right is an etching of George Custer, then various war scenes down toward the tip. It's beautiful. I am told there are only three of these. The knife does not clue me in on the knife brand, or much more information.

Can anyone tell me a little about Sam, and my knife?

Don't know anything about the knife, but some photos might help with an identification.
