Here's a bowie out of my shop, stock removal, my heat treat. The knife is 11 1/2 inches overall, with a 7 inch, 800 grit satin finished blade of 1080 carbon steel. Super clean! The handle is a fine Sambar stag taper, with stainless guard and a thin butt cap contoured to match the stag. This knife would be great engraved. I had one engraver eyeball it lustfully already, just can't quite foot the bill. The sheath is right handed, tooled and selectively dyed, with a keeper strap, and is my work also.
