It's not finish, I have to do a lot of polishing. I want to aged the blade too. Gosh! Infi is hard! 17 hours to shape the blade by hand to keep the heat treatment... :barf:

Cheers.

That is an incredible knife and it looks like you are very talented!

I want that knife...seriously:cool::D

That's pretty darn close to what I was talking about in making a traditional bowie-shaped blade with a talon hole. Good work. ;)

I think he means he had to go slowly and by hand (rather than power tools) to avoid heating up the blade and affecting the heat treatment.

PS... beautiful work!

ah ok, I misread it... *whew* I was starting to feel really confused, like the basis of my reality had been yanked from beneath my feet.

I think it's coming out absolutely awesome! I would buy that design.

Any plans to remove the dimpling? What are you using for the reshape? File?

Not a big fan of Stag, clips or Bowies in general, but you do make it look good.:thumbup:

I would almost consider deepening the choil. Bringing it up even with the bottom of the stag.

What was that originally? FSH???
It was a Heavy Heart Fusion Steel Heart.

I will let the dimpling.
Any files I have were able to bit Infi steel. So I have used larges bands of differents sandpapers (from extra coarse to very fine grains) fixed on a 22 inches long and flat piece of steel to shape by hand.
