Here is one that I finished up last weekend for a customer. The 11" blade is forged from W2. The handle is amber sambar stag while the fittings are blued mild steel and nickel silver. The overall length on this one is 16 1/2". The balance point on the knife is about 5/8" in front of the guard on the blade. I hope you enjoy.

Here is a pic where I was trying to capture some of the details of the hamon.

Craig, that is brilliant, well done, is it a frame or full mortice handle?

Cheers,

Stephen

Damn - every time you post up a new bowie I end up saying "Man, that's my favorite of yours so far." I'll come back when I can think of something more original this time 'round.

That is one fantastic knife.

You do a real nice job on D guards. That dyed stag looks great, and so does the blade. Actually, the whole darn knife looks fantastic.

Yeah that one's really nice, Craig. Just about everything about it appeals to me.

Craig,

Sweet. Place the knife in a plain brown wrapper, mail it anonomously to the US Customs Border Crossing in Port Huron, attention CWO4USCG and all will be forgiven...well maybe....

Darn good looking hamon there too!
