I noticed that there is a new training staff being released by cold steel this year. I believe it is just a polypropylene 'rod'. My question is, Do you think that it could be cut down and used as a replacement handle for the Samburu spear that cold steel sells? I always hear about the wood handles breaking after minimal wear and think that this could be a good alternative. Any information would be greatly appreciated!
