Same action but bigger than Drifter

A SS knife bigger than the CRKT Drifter but with the same effortless deploying action. Size wise maybe 4" to 4.5" closed. Anybody else have the SS drifter and can relate to the superb speed of opening? Thanks
 
I do not know if the knife is assisted or not, but if you are just looking for a high quality knife in about that size range, look at the blur. the assitance will make the opening very fast.
 
i do have a g-10 drifter and it is my smoothest knife so i know what you are talking about. im not into bigger knives but ive been thinking about a spyderco sage as i have heard they are really smooth. if you want something fast, i would stay away from back locks
 
yup I can relate, you have to try for it to not flick open. always wished they would make a larger version
 
Yeah I guess you're right. I need a larger version of the drifter...and they don't make it. :( unless sombody knows of something else, but thanks!

The Sage is larger than the Drifter. It's not towering over the Drifter, but it is larger. The Sage doesn't come in a full SS frame. The Sage 1 has CF scales over SS liners w/ a liner lock. The Sage 2 has a full Ti frame w/ a frame lock. The Sage 3 has G-10 scales over SS liners w/ a Bolt Action lock.

Try the Kershaw Shallot. Very fast and smooth, and not very expensive either.
