Went for the same hike today but took pics of a very different scenery, I also took more pics while walking, whereas last week I only bothered taking pics while I took a break.

Lycpodium sp. can be used to make baskets, I made one but it was very small, I dont belive it could hold an egg.

Its actually not that hot, maybe 25 celcius. Im quite high up and a great deal of the hike is shaded.
Im glad you liked the pics, next thursday I'll be going to a different place.

Great pics. I'm looking at the Ruffwear Approach pretty hard now. I think little dude isn't so little any more so he can start carrying his own foot and water. :D

Awesome pics, and it is so green there. It is just plain brown here. Just starting to see some green blades of grass. I am glad winter is almost over.
You have a wonderful place to hike in.
