Anybody have the same knife in different sizes?
I recently purchased an MBK Old Guard with the inset lock (liner lock) in Ti.
I've been wanting the Mini Old Guard for the longest time but just can't find one.
When I do find one, I'll buy it.
Love the minimalist all business design of this knife.
And it's extremely well made.
Anybody else?

Not really what I typically look for or consciously pursue. I considered the short Kabars, looked at the mini- Recon 1's but they did not appeal. I guess the only ones I have that are big and small, are the Buck 110/112 and SOG SEAL and Pup.

I have a Pm2 and a para3, a large and a small Inkosi, large and small Emerson Commander, spartan blade SHF and SHF 3.25, XM18 3.5 and 3¨

I sold my large and small grip til Ian some time ago

I also had a small sebenza but I only kept the large one

When I really like a design I like to try different size of this design when possible. I give some options and allows to carry something smaller when the situation requires it

More large and small Sebenza combos around here then you can shake a stick at. Same with large and small Inkosi.

I had a PM2 and Para 3 lw, but I rarely carried the 3 so I gave it to my half brother in law as a welcome to the family gift. I gave him, my half sister, their two kids each a knife when I met them for the first time last month. He loves it so I'm happy.

Otherwise, I have a thing about not collecting duplicates and most of my knives are only available in one size.

From the top of my mind: PM2 + PM3, Manix 2 + Manix XL, XM18 + XM24 (Bowie, Wharnie and Slicer), Dog Soldier 6 and 8, Hinderer Emmett Bowie and Ranch.

This one made me really happy :) Same designer, different companies and steel though.

Only own one Becker, but I like that almost all the knives have the same grip. Glocks of the knife world!

Some Emerson models have Mini versions

Some knives don't have a larger version, so I needed one made 😃

Gareth Bull makes 3 sizes of Shamwari and the smaller 3.3" and 3" ones are not just shorter, but also dimensionally smaller and thinner than the 3.5"

David Mary makes 3 sizes of this. This is a Boomerang and a Bittyrang.

And up until recently, I had a Benchmade Dejavoo and Mini Dejavoo. Now I just have the Mini.

Yes. If buy one size and like the model, it's usually enough to make me pick-up, or at least strongly consider, the other size if there is one.. not every time (sometimes "mini" is just too small..), but a lot of times..

Off the top of my head.. Sm/Lg Sebenza, PM2/Para 3, Delica/Endela/Endura, Lil Native/Native/Native Chief, TRM Neutron/Atom, Emerson A-100/Mini A-100, Hogue RSK Mk1-G2/Mini RSK Mk1-G2, BM Grip/Mini-Grip, Presidio/Mini Presidio, 940/945, Adamas/Mini Adamas, Manix2/Manix 2 XL, CS Recon 1/Mini Recon 1..

I have these. You'll notice that something changed when going from L to XL ... more steroids, maybe...

I started with the wee one, carried that for a few years, then went to the large, still carry that one a lot, then went to the XL and carried/carry it a bunch, too.

At present just my large and small classic mm sebenza's
In most cases I do it since neither the small or large are perfect. If a nedium was offered I would only need that.
