Same knife, sheepsfoot or drop-point blade?

I always liked the thumbstud version better.
Bought one, and a 556 as well.

They've both been sold, but they are great knives,
especially for the $.

Only thing is - have heard from many that the hole version
is easier to open if you're wearing gloves.
 
I went with the sheepfoot version because of the opening hole, I hate things protruding from the blade. It's not a traditional sheepfoot, it has a very nice belly and a rather useful point. I've found it to be very good for general EDC chores.

Both blades will be plenty strong and useful, the main difference is the opening mechanism.
