Just got these three fitted. Once I get them epoxied together I'm going to see which holds up the best by cutting some half inch rope. All the blades are around 3" with total lengths of under 8". Two of the blades are W-2 and one W-1. Trying to find out if there is a difference between the two steels for keeping an edge.

The knives are super Ray but do you have a machine that just squirts them out. You are having way too much fun!

I do like those handles! ;)

Dan, The W-1 is the top blade. The line is almost identicle to the way I put the clay on. I did the bottom blade the exact sameway at the sametime. The W-2 definatly hardens deeper. The middle blade is also W-2, on that one I ran the clay almost down to the edge. I should find out in a couple days if there really is a difference in the edge holding abilities.

Peter, No machine pumping the knifes out except for myself. Lots of time spent in my shop although I did mow the grass today. On an average I bet I spend 12 to 14 hours in the shop... It sure doesn't hurt to love what I'm doing.

You "love what you're doing" and it shows.
Really great looking knives...I wish you were going to Blade so I'd have a chance to see them in person.

Shappa, Next year if I can get a table and if I'm still kicking I hope to do Blade. Just west coast this year......
