Hello All.
I was in a local shop this week and they had a LE Prince (think that was the model). Anyways, the bottom of the box had a sticker on it that read something like "dealer sample, not numbered".

Is this a bit rare, odd, or worth going back to pick up? It was a nice knife, had the bear claw on the side of the handle IIRC. Didn't catch a price on it.

Thoughts?

Thanks,

I would buy it... If I liked it, that is... It's all about the price tooo... ITE ...

Would it be this one? If so, the retail list price of them was $200. They were put out in 2010. I thought it was interesting because it doesn't have the regular Prince blade, it appears to be a clip point from the 055 model.

Here is what the 110 version of this issue looks like.

The dealer sample should not cost as much as the reg issue knife IMHO. The next question I would ask the folks who have this for sale is "do you have documentation from Buck stating this is a dealers sample (I Won't trust a sticker). Many of these LE issues have over runs and the current Blems are not marked on the knife Just on the box and a new sticker can make the blem go away. If you are going to buy it I'd take a photo and run it by Joe H.
