This is my first post. I'm trying to figure out what I've got. My grandfather was a true artist with leather and sheath designer for Buck and did some work for Leroy Rener. He passed away a few years ago and left my father with a huge collection. These pictures are some knives that my grandfather gave to me. Please offer some insight as to their collectability. Thank you!

Each of knives you have posted are very nice & very collectable! Some custom shop knives, one DY knife, & RRR custom. I love the 909 mountain Bowie at the bottom "sweet" or I should say the 909 style blade on your custom Bowie.

Great lookin sheaths. Your father has a huge collection of knives of that caliber?
If so, what you got is El Dorado

They are made by the same man. Leroy was the first Custom shop employee at Buck, he now has his own shop....RRR knives.

We would love to see some more photo's of your dad's fantastic collection! You were blessed to have a Grandfather that gave you such wonderful knives.

I agree...very blessed indeed. I plan to take detailed pics of all the knives. There are quite a number so it will take a while. But I'll be happy to post some more of them.

BG42Edge...that is a USAF Historian badge if I'm not mistaken?

You are correct, Chaps......and not many people would know that! :)

Looking forward to seeing more pics in the future.

Thanks for the clarification on Leroy's stamps. I don't know that he stamped all of them. He usually included his "brand" which is the horseshoe with HW in the middle. Most of the sheaths in our collection has his initials and brand. I posted more pictures in the Sunday Show thread.
