WAHOOOOOO! I am now a proud and happy owner of a gently used Colt MKIV enhanced series 80 govt model... aka a Colt .45 1911 for those not in the know. I picked her up yesterday and spent most of the night gunsterbating. She has a beautiful polished blue finish that I can stare at for hours. I gotta figure out how to post some pics, and figure out which knife is worthy enough to pose with it.
I tell ya, gun obsession is every bit as bad as knife obsession. I'm already plotting/planning my next 1911... thinking about a commander. I'm also thinking about additional grips... would love a pair of real ivory grips, but they are rather costly.
