Hi all .... I know a specific thread already exists about Sam (HERE EXACTLY....), but I could not resist: I have had in my hands for a few months Sam's four blades (one only is mine), to test and write a review about these knives, "in the woods".... I used to spend part of my free time in a nice forest, just behind my house, in the mountains of the center of France.
No place for knives specs, just pics...

Fantastic photos!!! Beautiful country and knives. I really like the scalloped detail on the guards but I like everything about those knife designs.

WOW, thank you for posting these beautiful knives working out.
They are stunning, seeing them work is really great- magnificent area of the woods where you are, lends a great harmony to the post.
Thank you again-
Cheers,
Guy

Thank you!
Yes woods are beautiful here, but not so large as yours in Canada or US. My dream is to have time to spend six months in Montana, Alaska or Yukon, in Quebec, to see at least one time in my life real wild northern forest.

And yes : Samuel Lurquin's knives are really efficient , big knives, not for cooking, but ready to work despite damascus or luxuous work on them. Hunters in Argentina, Canada, soldiers in Afghanistan use these fine tools.

very cool. Awesome photos. Makes me want to head out into the woods. I really like the look of his work. Thanks for the new source of inspiration.

Aquinatis,

Nice thread, great pics. Thanks ! :)
Mr. Lurquin must be on lots of folks radar I'll bet.
Great designs !

Fantastic photos, woods and knives. Looking forward to meeting Samuel at blade and seeing some of these knives in person, as are many others.
