It came today! It's my new Swamp Rat Waki in Tanker Gray and Black Canvas Micarta. I love it!

I'm so jealous! For two reasons... 1. I want my Waki. 2. I ordered plain Jane Black Micarta with Black coating, kind of wish I would've ordered Tanker Gray.:(

Don't sweat it, the black will look just fine. Once you start swinging this baby, you won't care what color it is! Hope yours arrives soon. This thing is great. It can slash grasses and brush like a machete, chop, stick...this is a serious survival tool and weapon. Not bad for yard work, either! :D

Sweet. I also ordered a Tanker Grey with Black Micarta and it looks very nice. I decided the Black with Pumpkin will be my "user."

I order the same one and I wish I would've ordered the muddy/tan micarta.

I also ordered tanker grey with black micarta for my user and a blk/tan and tanker grey for my safe queen.:thumbup::cool:

I am so stoked to get these Rats. I got to handle them at Blade and they are awesome.
But you guys already know that!!:)

Oh yeah, it wakied right through. Thanks for getting it out to me so fast, Eric. I never used to be a sword guy because they are ancient weapons and I am not trained in their use. But this Waki would make an excellent camping and survival tool in addition to a devastating self defense weapon. I love it. I washed my precious and touched up the edge. I just got my well pump back on today and haven't even showered yet. The Waki came in as I was finishing up. I have my priorities. :D
