Beatifully done sir, a very unique and well designed piece that really is the full package, thank you for posting the wip and final product!

Stellar work! Love the little mammoth bead in the finial, nice touch.

Darcy:)

What a prize to see.

Thanks for sharing it

This thing is marvelous. May be the most beautiful mammoth handles I've ever seen. I love how you rounded the edge where they meet up to the damascus. Even looking at the WIP the results are surprising, to end up with this. I wish it were coming to me. :)

An outstanding Bowie were everything, especially the more subtle elements such as the Spanish notch and mammoth finial, contribute greatly to the overall.
Has both a rustic, yet elegant look which most always appeals to me.
Certainly a worthy competitor for the year end Best Bowie competition.

Thanks a lot everyone :) im really glad you like it :) i spend a very nice time making this one and im already looking forward to another knife of this category :) Have nice day Petr

Kevin Jones : thank you ! :) those are very nice words .. it would be surely nice to compete with this knife, but our countries are way far and the knife is already on its way to the customer :) maybe some day .. who knows :)

The knife has such a cohesion in its composition... everything looks "right" as if it was a cultural artifact. I like the sense of massiveness imparted to the fittings by the dark and tactile treatment, especially since the actual size of each element appears to be quite proportional.

I get a similar vibe from that as from some things that Ray Richard has made, although of course it's apples to oranges there...

Gorgeous knife, fantastic photos. I can't find anything to gripe about other than it is not living at my house.
