I based this design on antique San Francisco style bowies. The blade and bolster are five bar twist damascus that Cliff Parker and I made when I visited his shop this past Christmas. The handle is MOP with gold anodized and jeweled titanium liners. Unfortunately, I couldn't get a scan that shows all of the detail in the blade.

Andrew - simply stunning! Keep up the great work - you seem to out do yourself with each knife you finish. If you would like to get an up close scan showing the bolster and blade details but don't know how, feel free to give me a ring, I'll walk you through it.

Andrew, since you are using a scanner and a background cover, tilt the blade with your finger and hold it flat against the scanner bed, the rest of the knife will be tilted, but you'll get a good damascus blade shot. you may also want to try it without a background or with a black background. I find this helps the damascus pop-out.

To bad I couldn't get a better look at that damascus. It looks like it's pretty darn nice. That is one beauty of a knife Andrew.

Thanks for the help guys. I played around some with my scanner and photo editing program to see if I could improve the image. I hope it will fit the screen. This image has higher resolution so If you save it can be expanded for a better look at the damascus. Let me know what you think.

Wow Andrew! Nice looking knife. I am still planning on paying you a visit soon. I have just been so busy. When are you going to make me that tactical folder? Take care!

Thanks Terrill and Michael. Michael, I'm working on two using/tactical folders right now. ATS-34 blades, titanium bolsters, liners, and back-spacer with carbon fiber scales.

Hi Andrew... I want to thank you for taking time out to talk to me just recently. I'm also looking forward on owning one of your pieces soon.
